1 pound ground turkey
1 can (14.5 oz) diced tomatoes with green chilies
1 can (15 oz) black beans, drained and rinsed
1 can (15 oz) kidney beans, drained and rinsed
1 medium onion, chopped
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 tablespoon chili powder
1 teaspoon cumin
1 teaspoon smoked paprika
Salt and pepper to taste
1 cup chicken broth
1 bell pepper, chopped
Instructions
In a slow cooker, combine the ground turkey, diced tomatoes, black beans, kidney beans, onion, garlic, chili powder, cumin, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper.
Add the chicken broth and bell pepper to the mixture.
Stir everything together until well combined.
Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or on high for 3-4 hours.
Once cooked, stir and adjust seasoning if necessary before serving.
Notes
For a spicier chili, add jalapeños or cayenne pepper.
