Raspberry sorbet

Raspberry sorbet is a refreshing and fruity frozen dessert perfect for hot summer days.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups fresh raspberries
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice

Instructions

  1. In a saucepan, combine water and sugar over medium heat until the sugar dissolves.
  2. Remove from heat and let it cool.
  3. In a blender, puree the raspberries until smooth.
  4. Strain the raspberry puree through a fine mesh sieve to remove seeds.
  5. Mix the raspberry puree with the cooled sugar syrup and lemon juice.
  6. Pour the mixture into a shallow dish and freeze for about 2 hours.
  7. Stir the mixture every 30 minutes until it is fully frozen and fluffy.
  8. Serve in bowls and enjoy!

Notes

  • For a smoother texture, use an ice cream maker.
  • Adjust the sweetness by adding more or less sugar based on your taste.
  • Garnish with fresh raspberries or mint leaves for presentation.
