A rich and moist chocolate cake made with olive oil, perfect for a quick and easy dessert.

Ingredients

  • 1 ½ cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • ½ cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • ½ tsp salt
  • 1 cup olive oil
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 tbsp apple cider vinegar

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9-inch round cake pan.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt.
  3. Add the olive oil, water, vanilla extract, and apple cider vinegar to the dry ingredients and mix until smooth.
  4. Pour the batter into the prepared cake pan.
  5. Bake for 30-35 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
  6. Let the cake cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
