Chicken tomato basil skillet

A delicious and easy one-pan meal featuring chicken, tomatoes, and fresh basil, perfect for a weeknight dinner.

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 2 cups cherry tomatoes, halved
  • 1 cup fresh basil leaves, chopped
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  2. Season chicken breasts with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning.
  3. Add chicken to the skillet and cook for 6-7 minutes on each side until golden brown and cooked through.
  4. Remove chicken from the skillet and set aside.
  5. In the same skillet, add minced garlic and cherry tomatoes, cooking until tomatoes are soft.
  6. Return chicken to the skillet and add chopped basil, stirring to combine.
  7. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until heated through.
  8. Serve warm and enjoy!
